We welcome you by the names you gave us when you booked.

At the entrance, our staff crouch down to your dog's eye level to say hello. At the front desk, we have a welcome board ready with your names on it. Check-in is from 15:00. When moving around the building, please carry your dog in your arms or use a dog stroller or carrier. We have about 20 dog strollers available to borrow.

Stretch out on the tatami with the whole family.

Of our 7 room types, you can stay with your dog in 6. In the tatami Japanese-style rooms, the floor is less slippery for your dog's nails than wooden flooring, so your dog can settle in calmly. Every room looks out on Mikawa Bay. Your room is stocked with pee pads, a lint roller, deodorizer, dog waste bags, towels for wiping paws, and wet wipes. Each room has one crate.

Your dog stays close to the family in the dining venues, too.

There are 2 dining venues, Restaurant Mikawaza and Dining Nagi, and your dog can join you at both. As elsewhere in the building, you can keep your dog by the family's side, in your arms or in a dog stroller. Owners can enjoy kaiseki (a Japanese multi-course dinner) made with seasonal Mikawa ingredients. For your dog, we offer vet-supervised fresh food for 1,650 yen and the Wan Buffet, a buffet for dogs, for 3,300 yen.

Sleep in the same room. Your dog waits in the room only while you are at the Public Bath.

At night, too, you and your dog can sleep in the same room. It is just like sleeping at home, so everyone can sleep soundly, even on a trip. The only time you are apart from your dog in the building is while you use the Public Bath, and during that time we ask that your dog wait in your room. In "Yuragi", where each room has a private Open-air Bath, you can enjoy a bath in your own room. The 4 Yuragi rooms also have a clawfoot bathtub for dogs.

More about the baths

A walk by the sea, then off on your next trip with your dog's name card in hand.

The seaside at Terabe is a 2-minute walk from Kaiyutei, just the right distance for a morning walk. Your dog can join you at breakfast, too. On the day you leave, we give you a card with your dog's name on it. Check-out is by 10:00.
